  • The Ice Cream Factory is returning this December from Friday the 1st of December until New Year’s Eve!

    Opening Hours are from 5:00 pm – 12:00 pm [with the exception of NYE 5:00 pm – 1:00 am]

  • Your ticket admits you into the Ice Cream Factory.

    Inside, you’ll have access to all the activities, amusements, bars, and rides available to purchase.

  • The Ice Cream Factory is located at 92 Roe St, Northbridge.

    Entry to the event is located on Lake Street across from Planet Royale.

    The Perth City Train Station is a short 500m walk away.

  • The Ice Cream Factory is an 18+ Event.

  • All guests are required to show valid identification (ID). As proof of identity, all guests must produce one of the following acceptable forms of ID.

    There are only three acceptable forms of photo ID at the Ice Cream Factory:

    • Current Australian Driver's Licence with photograph
    • Current passport
    • Current Western Australian Proof of age card

    We DO NOT accept expired ID
    We DO NOT accept receipt of a renewal of an ID


    Please do not bring these to the venue, as they will not be accepted.

  • The Ice Cream Factory is a licensed area and as such, alcohol may only be consumed with the following provisions:

    • Alcoholic beverages must not be taken from the venue/licensed premises

    • No external alcoholic beverages will be permitted entry to the venue/licensed premises

    • Intoxicated persons will be refused entry/evicted from the venue

    • It is an offence to purchase liquor for or supply to, a minor

    The Ice Cream Factory reserves the right to refuse admission to and eject from the Event without compensation to any entrant, whose conduct is, or deemed to be unlawful, disorderly or offensive, or who is not entitled to attend that event. This can include those who are intoxicated, violent, quarrelsome, disorderly or maybe drug-affected or in possession of illegal drugs/substance drugs.

  • The Ice Cream Factory reserves the right to refuse admission or service to any person or persons failing to comply with the following dress requirements.

    • Footwear to be worn at all times.

    • A patron wearing any ‘colours’ or ‘insignia’ signifying belonging to any Outlaw MotorCycle clubs (OMC’s) or another group as designated by Police, is prohibited from entering or being in the Venue. This includes coats, T-shirts, scarfs, waistcoats, caps, patches etc that indicate a patron belongs to any of such OMC’s or groups.

    The Ice Cream Factory is an event site. We do not suggest high-heels with artificial turf.

    We do not have strict dress standards and thongs and shorts are completely acceptable.

  • We can scan tickets straight off your phone - please turn the brightness up.

    You do not need to bring a hard copy of the ticket.

  • Contact us for Birthday specials if you are born in the month of December at events@barpop.com.au

    Please note that we only offer discounted [not free] tickets for Birthdays.

    This is only available for events that have not been sold out prior.

  • Name changes are not required for this event. You do not need your name on your ticket.

  • If you are no longer able to make it - refunds are not available.


    You will be able to safely resell your ticket via Tixel; Our official ticket resale platform. We do not offer refunds for a ‘change of mind’/ ‘change of plans’.

    If for whatever reason, the event is unable to proceed on the originally advertised date, full refunds will be made available to all customers who purchased a ticket via Megatix.

  • Unfortunately, no. We do not offer swapping tickets between event dates.
    We also do not offer refunds for customers who ‘purchase the wrong date’.

  • Please use our official resale outlet, Tixel, to sell your tickets.

  • The Ice Cream Factory is completely cashless! As such, you need to use your card at all of the payment points. However, if you need to use cash, you can buy a pre-loaded festival card from the merchandise tent which can be used as a ‘credit card’ across the festival.

  • Yes. Our operating hours are 5pm-11pm.
    A lockout for each event will occur at 10:45pm (with the exception of NYE).

  • No. We do not do ‘PASSOUTS’. This means that when you leave, you can not re-enter the venue.

  • We sure do! The Ice Cream Factory is an event which accepts companion cards, meaning we will be happy to issue a complimentary ticket ahead of time for your support worker.

    To arrange this, please email tickets@barpop.com.au proof of purchase of your ticket and a photo of your Companion Card.

  • Great news for food lovers! Milky Lane will be the exclusive food vendor at ICF 2023, offering their delectable burgers and sides. If you have dietary requirements, rest assured that there will be options available for you. We'll share more details about their menu closer to the event, so keep an eye on our social media pages for updates!

  • To ensure your day runs smoothly, it is recommended that you bring along:

    Tickets - can be printed or scanned from your phone

    Card - you can pay via Card, PayWave, PayPass or with a Bar Card purchased from the Merch Store.

    Valid ID - Under WA law there are three forms of acceptable identification for proof-of-age, you will need to hold one of these in order to enter the venue: Current Australian Driver's Licence with photograph, Current Passport or Official Western Australian Proof-of-Age card. We do not accept expired IDs, photos of IDs, receipts from an ID purchased, or any other photo ID card. You must have one of the forms of ID stated above to enter the venue.

  • Prohibited items include:

    Alcohol, glass (perfume bottles under 100ml are permitted), food, soft drinks, metal cutlery, bottle openers, cans, more than 100ml of liquid (sunscreen, perfume, makeup), hydration packs or bladders, skateboards, milk crates, containers of liquid fuel, water pistols, weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks, fire twirling devices, flares, professional recording devices, laser lights, studded clothing apparel, any other items considered illegal or dangerous, animals, umbrellas, eskys, backpacks larger than an A4 piece of paper, shopping trolleys, camping chairs, deck chairs, bean bags, air beds, tables, tents, sun shades, aerosols. Attempting to bring these banned items into the event may result in confiscation or denied entry.

  • Smoking is permitted outdoors only, however must be away from any areas whereby there is food being consumed.

  • We will do our best to post photos from the Ice Cream Factory on our socials in the weeks following the event. However, please note that not all photos are used and uploaded.

  • All lost property from The Ice Cream Factory is collected and held at the Merch Desk on site. Please contact admin@barpop.com.au for lost property enquiries.

  • Event Organisers may cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to dangerous situations, adverse weather or any other causes beyond its reasonable control, and such cancellation, interruption or stopping of the event shall not entitle the patron to make any claim whatsoever against the event organizer. Patrons evicted or refused entry due to disorderly conduct or inappropriate behaviour deemed by management are also not entitled to any compensation or refund.

  • Patrons may be refused entry if they are in possession of stolen/fraudulent or cancelled tickets.

    Patrons bringing personal belongings into the licenced area do so at their own risk.

    The organizers will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal belongings.

    The movement of patrons within the event site will be subject to the monitoring of CCTV cameras.

    By entering the event, you consent to being filmed and /or photographed.

    Photography and videography filmed in the venue may be used for social media and advertising for the venue.
